ITZAM opened its doors on May 17, 2025, with a clear purpose: to bring together gastronomy, specialty coffee, and craft cocktails through a unique contemporary Maya concept.

We created ITZAM as a place where guests can discover Maya culture through flavor, storytelling, art, and hospitality. For international visitors, it is an invitation to experience Guatemala beyond the traditional tourist path and connect with one of the world’s great living cultures. For Guatemalans, it is an opportunity to rediscover familiar ingredients, recipes, and flavors presented from a fresh and contemporary perspective.
